Bob, I attended trade sessions three consecutive years (2009-2011) l, or perhaps it was (2010-2012).

I had just started collecting Southern Nevada $1 chips and California $1 chips.

The trade sessions were fantastic for new collectors. Now my PC is mainly missing mostly rare and/or expensive chips so trade sessions would not work for those.

In regards to ‘no sales allowed’ back when I attended the, I witnessed some large ‘chip trades’ in the trade rooms that consisted of some people ‘trading’ LIVE $25 and $100 South Point chips in exchange for chips.

That was probably not in the ‘spirit’ of the trade sessions, but all parties walked away happy..
