Yesterday, August 23, 2025 was Allan McCurdy's 90th Birthday.
I am sure many of you remember Allan as an avid Chip Collector and Roulette Harvester. Allan was a long time member of the CCA and also the Atlantic City Casino Collectibles Club. Allan served as Treasurer of the A C Club for many years. Alan is now a resident of a long term care facility in Langhorne, PA and his Birthday party was held at the facility. Along with many, many members of his family a few of his old friends and fellow chip collectors attended the party.
Shown in the picture below from left to right are Brenda and Archie Black, John Chopek, Jerry Birl and the "Birthday Boy" Allan McCurdy. It was good to see Allan and his wife Ann along with other family members and guests. We all had a great time socializing with friends and family while enjoying hot dogs, Philly soft pretzels, cookies and some really delicious cup cakes.
