I would like to take this moment to thank all of the United States eBay buyers that have purchased from me recently and in the past.
Based on the new US customs requirements, it appears that the US will no longer allow packages through the mail. They must go through a broker. As a result, I have decided to stop selling chips to the United States. I still continue to sell to Canada and internationally. Under the new rules. It will cost me over $100 Canadian ( including tax, which is about US$70) to mail 1 chip. The buyer will also have to pay a 35% tariff plus local taxes and brokerage fees.
Chip collecting just doesn't seem as much fun as it use to be.
Below is a copy of the letter I received from eBay and the suggested shipping method.
