Boulder City is a gorgeous little town that's about 30 minutes from Las Vegas. The original town was constructed in 1931, by the Bureau of Reclamation and Six Companies Inc, as housing for the workers who were building Boulder Dam. The government wanted their workers to be productive, so drinking and gambling were prohibited in Boulder City.
