He's a black Ace (either Ace of Spades, or my preference, Ace of Clubs) celebrating New Year's 1992, at the small downtown Reno Horseshoe Club. This was during the heyday of LE collector chips where casinos, large and small, started minting LE chips to "walk".

From my Reno trip a few months ago --
My photo of the closed Horseshoe in Reno (with the big red horseshoe sign) boarded up*, next to The Nugget-Reno (also boarded up). Downtown Reno has seen better days, unfortunately.

*It has tha "Wolf Putt" sign on it -- not sure what that is or was???
