So you are saying that the wrapper is fake? Because it does say Las Vegas on it. That said I doubt that any casino in 1996 or 2000 would have been using any wheat pennies since they went out of circulation starting in 1959. He also has the same type of wrapper from Thunderbird at another auction. He may have just gotten the wrappers and filled them with wheat pennies that are worth about 2 cents each. Nice way to make a profit of over $40 if it sells.
