A couple of days ago, there were some chips posted onto the Chip Guide that has me needing some clarification, please.
A new casino was added. Town Club in Las Vegas. Four very nice chips for sure.
However, this morning, I was on and saw the $25 and $50 chips for sale. They also came with this write-up:
Vintage $25 Town Club Poker Chip Purple & Gold believed to be from the Town Club Casino in Reno, NV.
From the Old Reno Facebook page, "The Town Club Casino (formerly Zimba's Casino) is seen around 1976 along West Commercial Row, between Fitzgerald's Hotel & Casino and The Cameo Loan & Jewelry pawn shop (in the old Reno Mercantile building at the corner of North Sierra Street). A year later, it would become the Old Reno Casino."
According to the Museum of Gaming History, "Zimba's Casino opened at 44 West Commercial Row. Zimba's closed in August of 1972, and in December the property was sold. The Town Club, and later the Old Reno Club, operated at the location."
So where are these chips from?
