I just read that Maverick Gaming (owner/operator of 1 Colorado + 4 No. Nevada casinos + some Washington card rooms) filed for bankruptcy. Don't know if they're trying to reorganize, or if it will result in some sales or closures?

The press info says (in part): "The casino operator's properties include Maverick Casino & Hotel and Gold Country Casino in Elko, Nev., Wendover Nugget Hotel & Casino in West Wendover, Nev., Z Casino in Blackhawk, Colo. ...

I've been in the Elko Maverick, but otherwise, have no first-hand experience with their casinos.

I hope some picks up on this and keeps the casinos open. of course the obvious is, this could mean another new owner and new chips and a new name.
