The Riverboat was formerly Hank’s Bar, owned by Hank Staben,
from 1964-68. I remember a large angled “Hank’s” on the front.
After entering the bar the Bonanza Club was in a separate room
to the left. I don’t remember any signage for casino that had a 21
game, craps, slots, and I think poker. The place was owned by
Willie Musso. His wife Frankie worked there and Hank dealt 21.
The Bonanza was only open a little over a year in 1966-67. I
hung out there a lot when I worked at Harrah’s talking with
Willie Musso who worked in Hot Springs, Arkansas and Vallejo
California in the good old days.
