Oklahoma Update - Admin suggestions

1. Kiowa Casino in Devol has put in play the first new set of chips since they opened. Images of 50 cent through $25 have been submitted to Chip Guide.

2. Kiowa Elk Creek Casino in Hobart has opened and has location branded chips. Images of 50 cent through $25 have been submitted to Chip Guide. This casino is listed in the Guide as simply “Elk Creek.” I would suggest it be listed as Kiowa Elk Creek and alphabetized with the other Kiowa casinos. Personal note - this new Hobart location is not near any major population center and has only three table games located in the corner surrounded by slot machines. Table games are only open Thursday-Sunday and opening at 4:00pm, except Sunday which is 2:00pm. I was there today only one week after they opened. Only opened one table and it didn’t get open until 4:15pm. I was the only person at the table. Their sister casino in Carnegie does not offer table games. If you want chips from this one, I wouldn’t wait. I can see this one going to slots only any time.

3. I would suggest the casino listed as simply “Okemah” be relisted as Creek Nation Okemah and listed with the other Creek Nation locations.

4. All Oklahoma Osage casinos, including the new one in Bartlesville, are slots only, with the exception of Tulsa.

5. The Creek casino under construction near Coweta will be slots only.

6. Finally, I live in the Tulsa metro and can get to any casino in northeast Oklahoma within 1.5 hours. The trek to Devol and Hobart was about 9-10 hours round trip. Would like to find a fellow chipper in southern Oklahoma and one in western Oklahoma who could help with these new releases and help each other out.

Thanks. Dee
