Re: More on the Caesars Republic peculiarities...

I got my $1 Caesars Republic chip from Raulin -- here:
http://www.thechipboard.com/index.cgi/md/read/id/1768998/sbj/new-1-5-caesars-republic-lake-tahoe-chips/

My chip, in real life, looks like the one in Raulin's post, and like the white version you are showing. The red $5's look the same, comparing Raulin's post to the ChipGuide, but the $1's definitely appear different.

It's possible there are 2 different color $1's, but seems odd. Note that the ChipGuide entry has a "contributed by" and a different "updated by" names. Maybe the original was white, overwritten by the beige one? And the written description says "beige" too. Is that word supplied by the submitter, so the CG Administrator is only going by the scanned color, not necessarily the "real life" color?

My experience is that casinos don't worry about back-up racks beginning at $1. Or $5 either. They usually start at $25 or even $100?

This needs some eyewitness accounts to resolve it, IMO.
