Nice collection of 10-centers there.
Doug Saito used to "preach" about getting this denomination, as it became obsolete and increasingly rare. It's never coming back, and it also costs way more than 10c to make a 10c chip. I think Doug has (or had) his own specialty collection of 10c chips. Whenever I see one I think of Doug.
I am old enough that I actually played at a 10c craps table a few times. Downtown Las Vegas. Usually graveyard shift or a non-peak time of day. May have been El Cortez, but not sure. Even then, they watched them like a hawk. You could slip one or two in your pocket, but if you attempted to "walk" with a stack of them, you'd be sternly directed to "color up" that stack before you left the table. Lame excuses, like "I'll cash them at the cashier cage" or "I'm just going to the rest room" or ... (you name it). None of those excuses worked. They had heard them all!
