I really don t buy chips by value, only what catches my eye. Many of my fractionals and small crowns I ve gotten at a pretty reasonable price , a couple I might have paid more then I should. It happens . After years of collecting Playboy chips at many times spending more then what I could afford. When I retired at age 66, I sold off my collection and was going to get out of the hobby, but you know how that goes, I thought I would start. Collecting something a little more affordable, fractionals and small crowns or just anything that caught my eye, and that has gotten out of control. Now 79, I sometimes wonder what will my family do with my collection. I guess I have about 400 chips. And seem to still buying if it catches my eye. I just luv this hoppy and the knowledge other collectors have to offer. Have only been to two conventions, 2006 And 2007, back when I was collecting playboys. Now it would be hard for my wife and I to travel that distance. That’s my history of collecting. Hope I didn’t bore you, Ron
