6-5 Blackjack is spreading across the country like wildfire and may ultimately lead to the extinction of snappers. I haven’t done a casino by casino study in Vegas but I’d say almost the entire Strip is 6-5. When someone isn’t, they usually advertise it, because it’s such an exception. I saw it also in MGM National Harbor in Maryland. Interestingly, I recently played in a USD game in Buenos Aires, Argentina that paid 3-2, but used no snappers. When I got a blackjack on a $25 wager, I was paid $40, an amazing 8-5!
