I'm kind of surprised no one has been able to come up with some kind of imaging/laser/AI system that can take an object, measure and photograph example all sides of it and 'grade' it.

Then if you apply the same system to every object you can at least be consistent (you remove the people's opinion from it).

Has anyone tried and and failed with that?
