Yes, 6-5 BJ (which I refuse to play) doesn't need snappers.

I did notice that a lot of the LV strip properties, and some elsewhere too, have $15 minimum tables most/all of the time, but do pay 3:2 blackjacks. The dealer's payment protocol seems to be: (1) 3 x $5 chips, equal to your original bet, plus (2) a $5 + 2 x $1's + a half-dollar coin.

Maybe some of that premium $7.50 gets tipped or played for the dealer on the next hand ... or maybe not. I'd bet that if they DID have snappers, the snapper would be tipped or played for the dealer entirely, from time to time.

Perhaps, more tips for the dealers, but a bit less win for the house. So, the house would rather NOT have snappers in this scenario. I love 'em as collectibles, but they're an uphill sell to the house.
