We have a bunch of ashtrays displayed, and I've used an assortment of plastic and metal easels, fossil display stands (perfect for Safex ashtrays), cup and saucer display stands, and whatever else I stumbled across that looked like it might work!

I haven't found any that I've considered "perfect" for every ashtray, so sometimes I actually use the shiny Scotch tape and tape the ashtray to the stand (gasp!) for extra security. Make sure you don't get the tape on any of the paint or design on the ashtray...just the glass part (see the Westerner ashtray, below).
