While I do have intentions of asking the board to hold a Town Hall where everyone in attendance has their mic open (or moderated to open mics only to those who “raise their hand”), I’m holding only 2 meeting types at this time.

1. Public - members and non-members can attend. Board members are only ones with open mics. Everyone else is muted for the duration of the meeting. CCA Members will be offered first opportunity to speak for three minutes at the end of the meeting. Board members will not be required to respond, but may choose to engage. No action can be taken on anything said because only scheduled agenda items allow for that. At my (or perhaps the board’s) discretion, and only if there is enough time for it, non-members may be allowed to speak as well. Otherwise, their non-membership status means they can watch and listen, but not speak.

2. Executive, or closed, session - these are meetings restricted to board members only. Topics are typically sensitive in nature, and not to be discussed or divulged outside the executive session until and unless it is agreed by the board to do so. I’ve already scheduled one of these meetings, but only the board members know when it is, and they will be provided a link to the session.
