Can I ask what your objection would be? We had maybe 20 people at the business meeting during the convention and non-members could attend that (at least one did, per my invite on the show floor).

I’m trying to provide more transparency between the club and its members, but also show non-members what the club is trying to achieve in the hopes of attracting new members who support what we’re doing. As a not-for-profit, I’m not sure we’re allowed to hide what we do from the public anyway.

I did mention in some of my notices about the meeting that future meetings may be restricted to members only. I said that mainly because I didn’t know how many attendees we could have in the club Zoom account and I wanted to prioritize members in that case.

Anyway, I’m open to the suggestion of having these meetings be for members only if there’s a valid reason for it. Otherwise, I’d like to make them as open as possible.
