Spool that film blindly in the light-proof bag, put it in the light-proof cylinder, turn on the lights, do the chem and it's like magic!
At least when printing the prints you had the red light and could kind of see what you were doing.
If no one has seen it, the 1966 film Blow Up does a good job showing what it's like....
