Can we change the word for the MOGH “membership” to something less confusing? What are they a “member” of? It’s confusing to have memberships to both the CCA and the MOGH when one is a subset of the other.
I thought the added features of the ChipGuide were for CCA members only? If someone is not a member of the CCA club, they should not have access. Are you saying someone can be a “member” of the MOGH and not the CCA? (Like saying I’m a citizen of Texas but not America!?) Surely the CCA isn’t allowing that.
Can we call it maybe something like “Patron of the MOGH”, or maybe “Friend of the MOGH”. To call it a “membership” is implying that the MOGH is somehow its own entity. The MOGH is simply a committee of the CCA. It has no independent power or presence.
I’m confused, and I consider myself pretty well versed in the club. I can’t imagine how confusing this is to the causal member.
