If I am not mistaken, the palms started off as a Maloof property. It was sold to Stations Casinos in 2016, and Stations issued a Redemption Notice for the Maloof-issued chips. (All the chips shown by Nate are Maloof-issued chips.) In 2022, after Stations closed the Palms due to COVID (I believe they may have even reopened it for a while), the San Manuel Mission Band of Indians (Southern California) bought the property, causing another Redemption Notice of the Stations issued chips.
Only the San Manuel Mission Band of Indians (now renamed Yaamava) are in-play and redeemable at the casino.
An effort is being made to separate the 2 iterations of the Palms ("was" Maloof and "became" Stations) on The ChipGuide, but the Yaamava iteration is already listed as a "became" property.
