The weather's getting hot here in SoCal today -- upper 90s and sunny.
Got me thinking about the poolside gaming offered from time to time in Las Vegas.
Sometimes, a gaming pit with BJ and/or craps nearby the pool, but all dry (as in new Fontainebleau pit in pic below) and other times an actual swim-up BJ table where players are in the pool, but dealer's side is dry. (This setup needed bill dryers, as I recall, in some installations). See pic of now-gone Tropicana swim-up that was located below the walkway to the rear convention area where we had some past chip shows.
And finally, there's always the gag photo of a craps table floating in the pool (as in "floating craps game"). There's a color pic below, but I remember the gag photo as far back as black & white photos.
Other casinos had pool BJ in the past, but not sure how many survive now.
Enjoy The CCA convention is around the corner ... but no swim-up BJ at South Point though.
