Hi Jim,

Sorry, but I am unaware of any reasoning behind South Point's decision to remove Caveman KENO from its Game King machines.

I'm not someone who ever plays Keno, so I wouldn't normally pay any attention to such things, but I did spend a few minutes searching my normal haunts online and was unsuccessful to find any info. Sorry.

It is a bit alarming any time you see a casino tighten the machines. Of course the normal progression is to start slowly, hoping people don't notice, and then continue going until you have 7/5 Jacks or Better video poker machines like you see at the airport.

Up until now, the South Point has been a very solid hold out against such bad-for-the-player tactics, so it is concerning to see them creep into the land of removing and downgrading payouts.

Even if it is just Keno, it bears watching closely.
