Just my personal opinion, the old format of # and current bid (only) is sufficient for me. No problem with the description format, and the extra pages don't matter, so it's your preference. If you use the new format internally and/or for printing a "final prices realized" list, then it's fine either way, as far as I'm concerned.
FYI, I will be bidding on some lots, but will wait until I'm back from the CCA convention.
Also, FYI, those Bellagio NCV tournament chips fooled me too, until I looked them up on the ChipGuide. IMO, there oughta be a law that prevents such close copies to be made for home use, unless they contain a "commemorative" or "tribute" or other such label/word on them plainly.
