As I recall, Redd started the show with a drink in one hand and a smoke in the other. He told the audience that he was going to say whatever he wanted to say and anyone who didnt like it was welcome to leave...and a few people did.

My husband is a Redd fan. When we're in LV he often tries to find something new to do, that doesn't involve gambling. several years ago he found Redd's old address. we found the house, which was a real estate office at the time. we went in and talked to aan employee who told us that basically every day, at 3 p.m., the office suddenly smells like cigarette smoke! so they always close by 3 pm!

Our next stop was Redd's final resting place, where we paid our respects
