I was in the Hacienda one night playing poker. Redd Foxx was at another table, also playing poker with the regular folks. He was also doing a show there nightly.

What was peculiar is that he was a BIG Keno fan, playing 10 or more tickets each draw. He had a gofer running tickets back & forth to the keno lounge, then he would pause to check the tickets when the numbers were drawn. He seemed more interested in following his Keno fortunes vs. paying attention to his poker playing.

I didn't have the nerve to say hello at that time. Just watched him from a couple of tables over.
