In addition to the Silent Auction lots (A thru T), most of the live auction items have also been donated (90% of them per David S.)
See the checklist here -- all the ones with a check-mark, and starting at $5 minimum bid -- have been donated. Most (or all?) of the donations coming from Spragg, Sarles and Hartman.

Note though that some have not been donated, usually with a higher starting minimum bid. Those lots come from other club members, who have submitted the chips to David (or Jay?) for inclusion in the live auction. They receive the final bid, minus auction insertion commission as auction payment. For the donated ones, the whole final bid $$ plus buyer's premium goes to the club coffers.
Any member in good standing can submit chips for the auction, though in recent years, the trend has been largely donated items. In early years, all, or nearly all of the items came from members (i.e. not donated). With all the outlets for year 'round auctions (ebay, ChipChat, etc.) a lot of potential items have gone to these other venues, IMO.
The Auction runners for the CCA convention welcome all types of submittals (as long as it's not low-$$ / common items). I believe this is David & Jay's last time to run the Auction, so it will be someone else coordinating it next year, but I'm sure they'd like of hear from members re: submittals for 2026 -- whether donated or not.
Note: all of the above is my understanding of the process. If I'm incorrect about anything, please correct me.
