Frank Elmo always had the fanciest clothes, car, jewelry...an immigrant from Italy. Him and his brother Louis were town barbers in the early 1900's - 1920ish. Louis continues to be a barber as Frank got himself a cigar shop. Then a pool room . The gambling started with pool...then prospered into anything to do with gambling. Cards, dice, slot machines and horse racing.
He later bought a small hotel with 5 or 6 rooms upstairs and moved his establishment there.

His son Albert took over the establishment in the mid 1950's. And actually changed the name to Alberts pool Hall...but it was very brief and was changed back the Elmo's.
The Club burned down in the mid 1970's. Albert's stepson " Dickie" forgot to unplug a jute box and it shorted out and started a fire....
