**** interesting fact…Frank Elmo’s daughter worked the switchboard as a telephone operator. Anytime the Mayor and Chief of police phoned each other about raids…she would listen in and tell her father. He would put away most of the gambling stuff and have a small portion out for a lesser fine. She later marry the night police patrolman…I believe his name was “Charlie” Rose.
