Unless they re-open a few tables over the summer

Last time I visited, and that was some years back, there was a lively poker game in a back room, plus a couple of tables opened on the main casino floor. A lady was dealing. I remember wanting to get one of their orange chips and she would not sell it to me. So I casually mentioned, "OK, well I'm going over to the cashier and cash in this ol' chip I have." And she said, "Wait! You have one of our chips?" And I replied, "Yes, might as well cash it in."

And she got all excited and said, "Why didn't you say so to begin with? Turn it over and I'll trade you one of our orange chips for it." Contentment reigned all over the Nugget.

Not sure there is a full-time live-action card game left in Carson City - usually someone comes on Thursdays or Fridays and if any interest, a brief poker game ensues. No interest at the appointed hour - no game.
