As ANNOUNCED on the CCA Forum...

I am pleased to announce that both Thomas and Barbara Hartel have contacted me to volunteer their services as the Greg Susong Memorial Award Contest Co-Chairs, beginning this June, for next year's 2024 contest! Because Nominations have been circulated, and continue to be solicited in my name and address, I will finsih out the 2023 contest. At the 2024 Convention and Show, I will turn the process over to the Hartel's.

The CCA Board has approved this action, and we thank the Hartel's for stepping forward to fill this volunteer vacancy in support to the CCA.

While on this topic, here are the details for submitting a Nominee for consideration in the ongoing search for Nominees for the 2023 contest.

This Award honors Greg Susong who contributed to our hobby in countless ways. One example of Greg's contributions was the creation of a message board and other websites that brought many of us together to become life-long friends. Greg was not only a great friend to many of us but to our hobby and club as well.

The official nomination form is linked below, so that it can be downloaded.

The deadline for sending your Greg Susong Memorial Award Nomination form is May 13, 2024.

Please take the time to complete and send in your Nomination for the person that you feel is most deserving of this wonderful Award. Provided here is the 2023 Greg Susong Memorial Award form. This form can be used by CCA Members to nominate a CCA member for consideration of being recognized as the Greg Susong Memorial Award recipient for 2023. This form may be printed out, completed and mailed, as noted on the form. It can also be downloaded, completed and emailed, as also noted on the form.
