Good question. I have to believe that in 99.9% of

Cases, the envelopes contain ballots of the member and their associate member which will contain votes for the same candidate.

I am not sure this will ever happen as most of the time the names are there or they aren’t.

Since the person opening the envelopes won’t ever open the ballots there is no way to tell whose out be counted and whose wouldn’t.

Hopefully we won’t ever run into that scenario but if it does, I can have one of my witnesses open them to make sure it’s a fair split.

However if people would simply follow the directions posted on the ballot itself, this would never happen and all votes would count.
