What you saw were people who would download the original image that was posted, fix it like I said, then post a reply. I'm confident that there's no way to edit a post in place. I think I even had a discussion with David about it quite some time ago. It's one of the main reasons I redesigned the CCA message boards as they ran on the same software as the chip board.
