Re: exchanging cash on floor with other collectors

Very good question that I personally would like a club official to answer. Maybe you could post this question on club board for our new President to answer. If there is a rule about no attendee to attendee sales inside convention bourse I definitely violated it. I was a volunteer for a Wednesday trading session ( where there was a published rule about no sales ) and had a binder of older higher value chips for trade. I did not make one trade in that 3 hours but I did have 5 individuals who made offers to purchase chips. I declined their offers at the trade session, but told them if I still had the chips they wanted the next day Thursday at the bourse session I would sell them chips at that time. Two of those folks were dealers and I just went to their table and made the transactions. The other 3 individuals tapped me on the shoulder during the show and we went to the food tables and made the transactions. Could we have gone out the doors to hallway and made the transactions there? Yes we could, but I knew of no reason to do that. Transactions took about 1 minute each. Now if I did something wrong I am sorry as I did not know I was in violation of any rule I knew about. I did not go to food tables and spread out my chips all over the table for anyone walking by to look at, like I was a vendor. I do think that would be unfair to individuals who had purchased tables at the show. I would like some dealers view on this also.
