I was told that the Lucky Spot was the same location that
was later the Headquarters Bar. Before that it was Eiko’s
Bar and one time Eiko let me crawl up in the attic to look
around. I found an old 21 table that I assumed was used
at the Lucky Spot. It’s strange that the place is not
listed in Fuller’s. Most of the buildings that housed the old
downtown clubs have been demolished. The only ones
remaining are the Nugget/Sagebrush and Nevada Bank Club.
