So I go over to the Golden Nugget to pick up the new $1 and $2 chips, and after a walkaround, it seemed that they are mixed with the old ones all over, but appeared to be concentrated at the poker room. So I get a seat at a game in the poker room, and while I’m playing and asking every new dealer for change as I squirrel chips away into my pockets, I notice that some of the $5s just don’t look right. They are using several different $5 chips, so it’s easy to miss, but the edge colors don’t look right. I look up Chipguide on my phone and it doesn’t appear to be listed. After some squinting, I think I see the same ‘N’ mint mark as the other new chips. So now I have another chip to squirrel away.
