Knothole matchbooks: There's a hole in the cover of the matchbook, which allows the matchsticks to show through
Figural matchbooks: Matchbooks that are cut into a shape, rather than just a rectangle
Novelty matches: Matches with a unique or artistic design, fun as well as functional. Feature, knothole, and figural matchbooks are examples of novelty matches/matchbooks.
