With the opening of the new hotel tower, Jamul Casino is now Jamul Casino Resort. A new rack of chips has been put on the tables. The main difference is the addition of "RESORT" on the chips, and the inlays are now white instead of green. The dollar chips are easy enough to obtain at the tables, with a mix of around 50/50 with the older ones. Five dollar chips, much tougher. I finally tossed down a $100 bill at a table but got only one of the chips for my efforts. It's a shame slot machines don't pay out with chips as I was having a fun evening with one. The best luck I had was even FINDING the casino in the darkness, although the Jamul sign atop the hotel lights up the countryside for miles around.
