OK, this is the official thread for this years ChipBoard 2008 Kentucky Derby Handicapping Contest. Here are the rules:
1. Open to CCGTCC members. Please include your membership number after your name. Non club members may also participate, as long as you use the phrase "I promise to join" somewhere in your post. I will take you at your word!
2. You can make any wager that is accepted at the windows at Churchill Downs. The only thing you can't do is tie your wager to another race, so no daily doubles, etc. We are using the payouts at Churchill Downs.

When formatting your "wager" please use the name of the horse, NOT the number. This will avoid confusion, and we all can see each others picks.
4. The player who turns their $20 into the most amount of money will win the 5 chips pictured below. The runner-up will get a single Palms $2.50 Seattle Slew chip shown below.
5. I reserve the right to break ties any way I see fit---most likely, we would carry over to The Preakness.
