It looks like if these are the chips that are showing up on eBay that since they've been buried in dirt for years that the coin centers should be pitted and corroded or badly discolored. I haven't looked at all the pics/scans on eBay but from what I've seen, the coin centers don't look too bad. Can the coin centers be cleaned/polished up and remove discoloration?
