I couldn't leave well enough alone. My computer was working pretty well but I needed to repurchase my virus software (Virusfighter) and I thought I'd upgrade to Norton Internet Security as it was just a few dollars more and had gotten good reviews in several respected sources. I can't believe how much it slows my machine down. I went to the Norton Support site and followed their instructions to clean up and defragment my disc and reset a couple of parameters but with little or no improvement. I think I've deleted all my other virus and ad blocking software. Feel free to trash Norton but I'm also hoping someone might be able to help. Thanks. My email is alex345{at}gmail{dot}com.
