In 1988, I was fortunate to be in the right place at the right time to become the founding President of the Casino Chips & Gaming Tokens Collectors Club (CC & GTCC)... a position I've held from 1988 to 1999. I have also served the club as the first Editor of the club's quarterly magazines, and as Convention Chairman for the club's first two conventions held at the Aladdin Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Other appointed positions I've held in the club have been the annual COTY/TOTY Chairman and Exhibits Chairman for three years now at the Tropicana Hotel conventions. I'm also the author of two widely accepted standard reference hobby catalogs; "Black's Catalog of Atlantic City Casino Chips and Gaming Tokens" and "Black's Catalog of Puerto Rico Casino Chips".
I hold Honorary Life Membership #001 in the club, an honor that I am deeply appreciative to the membership for bestowing upon me upon my "retirement" in 1999.
