Though I have no problem with people posting when they received their magazine or not, it seems more like a quarterly contest without a prize

A simple solution is why not have the Editor put up a post that the latest issue is in the mail and then if you don't receive it in a timely manner, I'm guessing 1 week for first class and 2-3 weeks for bulk, then there is time for concern. Just a thought.
