Since rental car rates are double of normal because the companies sold off most of their inventory in 2020 when things were shut down they will not get cheaper anytime soon. My guess is it will take a good year before they start to come down.
I am sure the SP Shuttle will be very busy because of this. Although I will miss my standard couple of trips in the car, I can live without one for the outrageous price.
