Since the guest speaker at this year's banquet was a consultant on the movie Casino this may be interesting to club members. This book has been published very recently and has some references to the movie Casino as well as to Las Vegas. The author was Hotel & Casino Manager of the Freemont and his cousin Murray Ehrenberg was running the Stardust. In fact Don Rickles played Murray in the movie. One other fact Marty & Murray were Lefty's right hand casino managers and were consultants on the movie Casino. They were there opposite days that Cullotta was there.
Marty just published a book on his life and has many stories inside the covers that you might like to read. Marty also stayed on after the movie was finished and wrote the voice overs you hear during the movie.
He was also casino manager of the Jaragua in the Dominican for all you Caribbean enthusiasts.

I just find the history fascinating. Front and Rear cover pictured. THe book is available on Amazon and more than likely in Las Vegas since it is printed in Las Vegas.
I did ask him a couple times over the years if he wanted to be a guest speaker at the club banquet, but his almost total loss of hearing makes it difficult for a question & answer period which is almost a must.
