Based on comments here (and elsewhere) I think there is a misunderstanding of the changes that are coming to the ChipGuide.

You will not have to log in to use the ChipGuide.

You will need to log in to use the advanced features of the ChipGuide.

The ability to see the main map, click on a state, drill into a casino and see all items there will remain open to everyone, no account or login required. This is much like the original ChipGuide.
