......attended the University of Delaware. I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in 1968 and started working as an Union Representative for the Amalgamated Meat Cutters and Butcher Workmen of North American (that's a mouthful) - Local 199 in Delaware. I worked as a Union Representative for 33 years and retired in 2001. The Union is now known as the UFCW (United Food and Commercial Workers). I was never a butcher but my Father was a butcher in a slaughter house back in the 1930s.
