I'm sure your concern is on the minds of many members. If you were to go to the Club website you can see in my statement the reasons why I resigned. It was not an easy decision under the circumstances. I assure you that 95% of the work was already in place for the convention before I left. I turned over all relevant materials to the board and answered any questions. You and others have judged me on an isolated incident, do you know what my total involvement with service to the Club and the hobby has been? If you would like I can send you my resume. Since the access to the Club website is limited to members only I will post my Campaign Statement on this board shortly. I am reluctant to do so as I am not wanting to make a spectacle of this election for non-members to see. This would polarize the Club and hurt us in the long run. I pledged to Jim that I would not attack him in a smear campaign but rather focus on doing what I think is best for the Club. I would hope everyone would have the same thoughts. Negative comments do nothing except drive others away. I would think those individuals would think of the Club and not their vendettas and the effects it has on its members before blasting away.
