In Response To: Error Chips ()

The cause of an "E" looking like an "F", is when the base of the "E" breaks from the die. This type of error is not that uncommon, and if not spotted right away at the place striking the coins, or they choose to ignore rather than making a new die, then this is a common error, albeit still an error.
